I'm celebrating my birthday (which is actually on December 17th) on March 14th with a few real-life friends. That gave me the idea—since I also have friends in the virtual world—to organize a raid train. I've never done it before, but there's always a first time.
So, I want to invite a few friends to celebrate with me. Both in real life and virtually. The main thing is to have fun.
Then I thought: if we're having a raid train, it should have a theme—it's a no-brainer, really. Then I remembered that our cat had just died, and we'd gotten her from the animal shelter. The Stuttgart animal shelter, like so many others, is severely underfunded and receives very little financial support from the city, sometimes even nothing at all.
So, this raid train is also a fundraising appeal. I don't want the participating streamers to miss out on their income from subs and Bits – but the fundraising appeal should be displayed every 5-10 minutes via a timer, and otherwise after about 20 lines in the chat (is that realistic or too frequent?).
The link to the fundraiser runs through GoFundMe and goes directly to the animal shelter's donation account. Those who prefer to donate directly and receive a tax-deductible donation receipt can, of course, do so. The donation account should also be displayed in the stream from time to time via a timer. However, only streamers from the EU can do this.
