Already a date of trickery, April Fools Day meshes well with the "trick" in "Trick-or-Treat". Thoughts of hidden "treats" are in mind at this time as well. A natural candidate for a Second Halloween to happen as it changes virtually nothing, and it only adds to the fun and festivities of the day.
