A monthly event motivating performers stream in ways they haven't before.
The only *rule is you MUST do something new/different/challenging, which could include, but wouldn't be limited to:
1. Stream location: take your stream mobile, to a different room, in the garden, etc.
2. (Sub)genre: play any genre you've NEVER played before
3. Hardware: downsize, add, or incorporatie a new or old piece of gear
4. Performance/mixing style: E.g., not beatmatching/scratching/using 3 or 4 decks/finger drumming/beat juggling n looping/adding new FX within software or on hardware
5. Music production session: create a tune or work on one already in progress
6. Musical instrument: Incorporate or purely play a live instrument
7. A set challenge:
- crate/playlist swap challenge: pick 50 tunes and swap them with another DJ on the line up. You could do this without knowing which genre you’ll receive for an extra level of challenge!
· 3 or 4 deck challenge: apart from your intro, you have to have 3 or 4 tracks running at all times!
· artist(s) challenge: your performance must contain music only produced by this/these artist(s)
· tune name challenge: any track fitting a theme (e.g., Villains - so tracks with words 'tree, wood, flower, bird etc. in them)
· label challenge: only tunes out on this label.
· random tune generator challenge: use a random number generator (e.g., a Streamelements command or an online tool) to determine which tracks in your playlist to play. NOTE: You could actually do this in advance of you set and plan how to mix it.
