At the solstice, the planet reaches an extreme — the longest night for some, the longest day for others. Wherever we are, something turns.
This edition of Hexfest invites us to gather at that turning point. To slow down, soften, and listen closely as the axis shifts and the light changes direction. Across hemispheres and time zones, we meet in sound — holding space through music, presence, and shared attention.
HEXFEST 21 unfolds as a continuous loop. We begin in the Hexcave, travel outward through a 24-hour relay of live streams, ambient sets, experimental rituals, and quiet transmissions — and return together, completing the circuit. Each set is an offering, each voice part of the same expanding form.
This is a call to attunement. A pause in motion. A collective act of listening at the edge of change. Whether you are performing or watching, drifting through briefly or staying with us through the full cycle, your presence shapes the experience.
As part of our evolving Hexwave ritual, we continue co-creating with the shared Hexwave loop & sample library. Artists will build their sets from a collective sonic palette, bringing together ambient, experimental, and ritual-inflected sounds gathered from across the community — fragments that echo, repeat, and transform as the loop carries on.
