June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month. As one who fights a daily battle with suicidal thoughts since my wife passed in 2004, to my son who self-harmed the first time he moved out to attend University, and to mates of mine who checked out far too soon, showing no sign of trauma or pain... I want to organise a Raid Train on Twitch to draw attention to the steady increase in male suicide. The programme will benefit Samaritans.org, but as this is a global issue, the link will direct each DJ and listener to their local Samaritans Group. I want to ask each participant to select their local Samaritan's site. The event will take place on 21 June, and Solemn Saturdays will run their programme.
