About the event
Earlier in the month, we raised over $1k for World Central Kitchen's Western NC disaster response. Now we are raising money for another essential emergency response agency, the United Cajun Navy.
PRODUKT! NC will be hosting Raid Trains throughout October to agencies that provide immediate relief to disaster areas and warzones.
You can also still donate to our original fundraiser for World Central Kitchen at https://donate.wck.org/ProduktNC
Note: The donations for both fundraisers will not be specifically earmarked for any specific disaster. We realize that the reason that these agencies are able to mobilize so quickly to a disaster zone is by the funds already raised most likely as a response to other disasters. So whether the money is used in NC, FL, or we are paying it forward to the next disaster, is irrelevant. Both of these agencies have done and will continue to do great work in Western NC.
Music Format: Alternative, Indie, or Dark Scene
Raid Train Rules:
- Everyone who is being invited knows proper Raid Train etiquette, so I will not reiterate it here. If you have any questions, message me.
- If you have any issues keeping your assigned slot, please message me right away so that I can figure things out.
- Best place to message me is Dave Industrie through FB Messenger. I will also try to check Twitch Whispers and Discord messages as well, but FB Messenger is definitely the most expedient way of contacting me.
- There is a 2 slot maximum on RaidPal so that everyone interested gets a chance to play. When we get closer to the event and need to generate flyers, if there are left over spots we will add an additional 2 slots so that we can get everything covered. So keep an eye out for that.
- If you have a regular show time during the train, the usual practice is to book the last hour or two of your regular schedule. You can still start your show whenever you would like, you just have to be able to raid out on time.
- If you are participating in any other Raid Trains that are being hosted on the same days as this train, please leave at least an hour buffer before and after your sets, so that we don't run into any logistical problems. You are allowed to promote other Raid Trains during your stream, but please ask the organizer of the other event if it is OK to do the same. Not all teams encourage this type of promotion, especially when the trains are happening simultaneously.
- Although it is common practice for DJs to donate the revenue earned in a stream, and then some, it is NOT A REQUIREMENT that the DJ donate to the fundraiser. Twitch pay outs are tricky and we don't expect you to have to front the money. What is mandatory is that you share the fundraiser link, and share the flyer in your social media.
Thank you,
Thanks,
