The BE Side Organization launched a landmark campaign to uplift the next generation of performers, creatives, and emerging leaders at Bowie State University.
Our goal is simple but powerful: raise scholarship funds that empower students through advancement, wellness, youth collaboration, and real opportunities that open doors.
This year, The BE Side has officially committed $25,000 in scholarship support to Bowie State University students through 2029—and 2026 is a major stepping stone toward that promise.
To reach our annual target, we invite community members, DJs, educators, creators, alumni, partners, and supporters to join us in building a legacy of opportunity.
🎓 WHY WE FUNDRAISE
Every dollar raised strengthens our ability to:
Support students studying the performing arts, media, music, and creative industries
Provide financial assistance to students facing economic barriers
Expand youth enrichment programs and industry exposure
Encourage creativity, wellness, and academic excellence
Invest in the next generation of leaders who will shape the arts, entertainment, and tech spaces
Our scholarships don’t just pay bills—they change lives, create access, and help students continue their education with confidence and support.

This year, we are launching our signature initiative:
We’re calling on at least 50 DJs, Raid Trains, creators, and supporters to each raise $500 toward our 2025 scholarship goal.
