I will dedicate this event to Mr. Death (Yasushi), a revered figure in Tokyo’s underground rock and roll scene, known for his unmistakable presence and unwavering passion for the music that defined his life. A constant in the garages, bars, and backroom stages where primitive rock and roll thrives, he embodied the spirit of the scene with authenticity and grit.
His passing in December 2025 leaves a void among the musicians, DJs, and fans who shared those nights of loud guitars and raw energy with him. Though he is gone, his devotion to the reckless heartbeat of garage rock endures. Mr. Death will be deeply missed… somewhere the amps are still humming, the records are still spinning, and he’s keeping it primitive and rocking on.
Keeping it trashy, expect filthy music from our talented line-up of DJs playing garage rock, rockabilly, psychobilly, punk, surf rock, exotica, and just about any other gnarly rock genre.
