Honoring Sgt. Timothy J. Shays and All Who Served
This Veterans Day, we gather to honor the memory of Sgt. Timothy J. Shays and every brave soldier who has fought and sacrificed—both on the battlefield and beyond. The courage it takes to serve is immense, but the battles don’t always end when the uniform comes off.
Many veterans return home to face invisible wounds and ongoing struggles—mental, emotional, and financial—that are rarely acknowledged and often under-supported. Government assistance is limited, and funding for postwar care is tragically scarce. These men and women carry burdens most of us will never fully understand, shaped by experiences that may never be publicly known.
