About the event
Welcome to the "We Want Our MTV - Vol 3" Raid train! This is an MTV themed raid train with music (preferably music videos) from 1981-2005. Our last two MTV raid trains (2021 & 2023) were a big success and the viewers had a blast! Some streamers did themed streams such as Head Bangers Ball, MTV Raps, All Request Live, and more.
Due to overwhelming demand, we have to limit you to 1 1-hour time slot.
One of the things that made the last two trains very successful was that we had large channels raiding into smaller channels and then back into larger channels and so forth. All channels, including the larger channels gained quality viewers and the smaller channels gained some exposure.
The Nitty Gritty (yes I have to put this in here)
- Disable Followers/Subscribers Only - The fastest way to kill a train is to have this enabled. You will gain followers from this train so please disable Followers/Subscribers Only. (If you have an issue with this, please reach out to me and we can discuss it)
- Start streaming at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time. This allows you to warm up and be ready when the raid hits.
- Please have your Mod(s) let the incoming streamer know you are live.
- Please have your Mod(s) check that the channel you are raiding to is live and ready.
- Respect your train mates!! Please raid out on time as long as the other channel is live. If you are on a Hype Train or you just got a large raid, please have your Mod(s) notify the channel you are raiding into know what is going on.
- Communicate, communicate, communicate!! Find out how to reach the channel raiding into you and the channel you are raiding into in case you are having technical difficulties, etc.
- Be prepared to do an extended set. Things happen and we need to be ready for it.
