Hey everyone! 😊🖐 I'm Fi Garrett, and if you've followed me for a while, you might have noticed I’ve been away from streaming recently.
Due to some difficult circumstances, I had to sell my Pioneer 900nxs setup, and on top of that, I’ve developed osteoarthritis in my lower back, hips, and pelvis. This means I rely on a crutch to get around and can't stand for more than a few minutes without pain. It’s been hard not being able to stream and share my passion for mixing with you all, and it’s really taken a toll on my mental health.
But I’ve decided it’s time to get back into it! 🎶 Even though I’ll need to stream while seated from now on, I’m determined to bring the music back into my life. To do this, I’m asking for a bit of help to get some DJ gear again, either a set of CDJs and a mixer or a new controller. For my 50th birthday, I’m organizing a 3-day streaming event on Twitch with the help of Raid Pal!
I’m inviting brands and labels to join in and celebrate by playing sets. Here’s how you can be a part of it:
Genre's wanted are House, Techno, Trance, Hard Trance, Hard House and DNB.
Grab your resident DJs and book your sets through your brand/label channels.
Make sure to space out your slots between other channels to keep the Raid Train flowing smoothly. This helps prevent viewers from dropping off, especially "the sleepers"—those who tune in but might doze off with their streams open! 😴
Use this event as an opportunity to highlight your resident DJs and producers, especially rising stars and anyone with new music to showcase. I’ll be promoting everyone’s sets, events, and new tunes like crazy!
This event isn’t just about my birthday—it’s a celebration of all DJs, brands, and labels who make the dance music scene thrive. If I can borrow some DJ gear, I’ll be mixing alongside you, but even if I can’t, I’ll still be there supporting and enjoying every moment.
